July 1920 -	MEIJI ELECTRIC INDUSTRIES, CO., LTD.
	Our establishment as a value-added distributor of electrical parts, materials with a repair facility for motors and transformers.

Mar. 1987 -	MEIJI CORPORATION
	The introduction of our company to the North American market. For the first time, companies using Japanese equipment in North America are given the opportunity to procure parts and engineering services directly from an actual distributor. Thus offering more benefits than the limited capabilities of trading companies.

Sept. 1996 -	MEIJI CORPORATION EXPANSION
	After double-digit expansion continued throughout our company, additional local support was required by our client base. So, to meet customer demand, regional offices were established holding stock, engineering and sales support.

April 1997 -	MEIJI CORPORATION - Ohio
	Local branch office was established in Columbus, Ohio.

July 1998 -	MEIJI U.K. LTD.
	Our new office in the United Kingdom now allows us to provide local support in Europe, Africa and the U.K.

April 1998 -	MEIJI CORPORATION - Kentucky
	Local branch office was established in Lexington, Kentucky.

April 1999 -	MEIJI CORPORATION - Tennessee
	Local branch office was established in Knoxville, Tennessee.

April 2000 -	MEIJI CORPORATION - Michigan
	Local branch office was established in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Mar. 2002 -	Anniversary Celebration
	Meiji Corporation celebrated our 15th anniversary in North America.

Aug. 2002 -	MEIJI CORPORATION - Logistics Center
	Established 3rd party logistics partnership to improve delivery times to our North American customers.

Jan. 2004 -	MEIJI ENGINEERING
	Created to provide engineering and manufacturing solutions, and added value for current and potential solutions.

Feb. 2006 -	MEIJI CORPORATION - Arkansas
	Local office was established in Oceola, AR.

July 2006 -	MEIJI CORPORATION - Texas
	Local office was established in San Antonio, TX.

July 2006 -	MEIJI CORPORATION - West Virginia
	Local office was established in Buffalo, WV.

Mar. 2007 -	Anniversary Celebration
	Meiji Corporation celebrated our 20th anniversary in North America.
